I have a master's degrees MENG in Civil Engineering and i am a chartered accountant. I have gone through the UK education system (secondary school - University), studying mathematical subjects and being at the top of my classes throughout. As such, I am highly competent in Maths and I know what it takes to succeed (from a low to high level). I am very enthusiastic about the subject and enjoy bringing it to life for students. I believe this is the key to achieving fantastic results and retaining this learning forever. I genuinely enjoy helping people and seing them grow in self confidence.

Tutoring Approach

I believe students better engaged in a subject when they have rel life examplws of how it can be used. Additionally,  each student has their own way of learning and that teaching should be tailored to match individual needs and learning styles. Not only does this keep the student interested but I have also found that this creates a desire to learn more about the subject. I believe patience is another key factor to teaching, this is a skill that I posses.
My approach is to identify the key areas that challenge a student, prepare structured tutorials which include relatable examples followed by regular practice questions. I feel that this helps students attain the highest grades.

For all the students I will set work to be done in between each lesson in order to reach the student's maximum potential. I also monitor students regularly and give progress reports to the parent/guardian in due course
