Tutoring Experience

I have supported students in their legal studies for over 4 years. My students range from A level students to Undergraduate students to students taking their SQE1 & 2 exams. Having personally gone through the whole process of undergraduate and postgraduate legal studies through to qualifying as a solicitor, I am able to use my knowledge, experience, and expertise to guide and assist students through their academic legal careers, helping them understand the legal principles and more importantly, apply them to the issues at hand.

Tutoring Approach

The way I choose to structure my sessions depends on the student, their needs, and the best way of learning for them, but usually we identify particular areas of concern and then create a structure for sessions that addresses those concerns. In particular, I like to work with students on actual past exam questions / sample questions, helping them identify and run through key issues and formulate coherent arguments to address those issues, in a style that the examiners are looking for.
