I am a professional, yet approachable maths teacher and tutor working in South Wales. Since graduating with an Engineering Degree from King's College London, I then completed a Graduate Teacher Programme where I gained my Qualified Teacher Status in 2012.
I am a highly organised individual who adheres to deadlines and recognises the importance of a pupil-centred approach to learning. Along with having excellent communication and interpersonal skills, I display a positive and caring manner and quickly form excellent rapports with students.
Outside of work I enjoy Salsa dancing, practicing Spanish and getting immersed in rich cultures when travelling.
I have had the privilege of working as a secondary mathematics teacher in both state schools in the UK and internationally, where I have had the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic journeys through KS3-KS5 and the IB curricula.
Throughout my career, I have firmly held the belief that every student is capable of making progress in their mathematical skills. I am a strong advocate of having a growth mindset, encouraging my students to embrace challenges and view mistakes as opportunities for learning and improvement. By fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, I have witnessed students gain confidence in their abilities and achieve remarkable results.
