I have loved science from a young age and followed my passion to a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Having worked for 10 years in London, I have recently moved back to Northern Ireland. I am an easy-going, friendly and caring person. I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and being active outdoors.
I tutored GCSE (year 1 and 2) and AS-level AQA Biology alongside working on my MSc. I have since worked in London in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals. I like to work with students and adapt my sessions to their areas of concern and their style of learning as best I can. I work closely with the specification as this outlines the topics the students are expected to learn and is the guideline for exam questions.
I am passionate and enthusiastic about biology and love seeing others get passionate about it too. I have experienced poor teaching and know how frustrating it can be, I do my best to approach new concepts from different angles. I feel patience is important on both sides.
