Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced Secondary School Art and Design Teacher and Photography Head of Department. I have 6 years teaching experience teaching art and photography at KS3, GCSE and A Level. Students have achieved outstanding results. I have an up to date knowledge of exam board requirements at GCSE and A Level. I am experienced in identifying and working with the strengths of each individual student to build confidence, challenge and boost visual skills and understanding.
I specialise in Photography however I am experienced in a range of art disciplines such as drawing, painting, printmaking.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor my approach according to the skills, abilities and interests of each student. I love to make art sessions fun, accessible and engaging. I will ensure that the student creates a specialise sketchbook with work that gives them more marks. I ensure that the projects have enough pieces and depth for a substantial grade.

Typical length of lesson will be 1 hour but can also do 2 hour lessons.
I am also more than happy to do intensive coursework improving sessions (3-5 hour slots) - these can only take place on the weekend.
