Throughout the last 8 years, I have dedicatedly perfected my teaching skills and nurtured research and data analysis capabilities, leveraging my education in Geology, varied teaching degrees, and hands-on practice.
I am currently a primary school teacher on maternity leave. I have experience in teaching children of all ages in all Primary School subjects.
My experience first started as a TA. I assumed the role of providing PPA cover, during which I meticulously crafted lessons and taught diverse subjects, including RE and PSHE. Other responsibilities included: Crafted and executed focused intervention sessions for individuals and groups, formulated organized schedules to inspire students to attain their reading goals, fostered a hospitable environment that nurtured engagement in learning.
As a teacher I am experienced in;
-Designing lessons in alignment with national standards.
-Crafting engaging content, presentations, and interactive lessons to ignite class enthusiasm.
-Nurturing a dynamic learning setting through individual and group interactions, offering valuable feedback.
-Planning, coordinating, and conducting focused intervention sessions for students in need.
-Evaluating student progress extensively through both formative and summative assessments.
My aim in teaching is to create a situation where students become enthusiastic about understanding the subject matter themselves. I enjoy using games and fun computing learning resources to engage children in their learning. In primary schools across the UK WhiteRose is a popular resource, I am experienced and enjoy using WhiteRose resources to support children's learning within school with familiar resources.
