I am an experienced history teacher with a proven track record to improve student outcomes. I am enthusiastic, happy and positive. I love history teaching and helping students find their best potential. I am particularly good at supporting students improve their exam scores.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a History teacher for 11 years, a Head of History for 4 years and will be going onto train history teachers soon. I also work for an exam board quality assuring the marking process for GCSE History papers. I have been a history tutor for 7 years.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to make my history tutoring experience enjoyable, engaging and exciting. I can offer a personalised approach for my students and can understand quickly what their strengths and areas of improvement are. I like to encourage them to revisit past material and practice exam questions, which will then be marked and feedback returned.
