I am currently a part time teacher in English at a college in Cornwall. I am patient, calm and have a real passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their goal, whatever that may be. I differentiate each lesson according to their needs and believe in keeping a student motivated and engaged but at the same time having fun and making it an enjoyable experience.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a teacher in English for over 4 years and a private tutor. I have experience in teaching GCSE English 9-1, IGCSE English and Functional Skills English at all levels. I have taught students at varying levels, students with learning difficulties and barriers to high achieving students. I am currently teacing part time in a college in cornwall. I have taught adults doing GCSE English in an evening class.

Tutoring Approach

I am naturally a calm, relaxed and laid back person and that is how I approach tutoring. I adapt my lessons and resources according to the students needs and requirements. I enjoy tutoring and inspiring students to achieve their goal. I endeavour to make the student's experience fun and enjoyable and to engage and motivate them. I am very adaptable and flexible to suit the needs of the student and their individual learning style and pace.
