My son was very pleased with all the help for chemistry A level. Kim aimed to get ahead of the lessons at school so he had good knowledge going to the classes. Loads of exam practice too. Many thanks.

Kim tutored me in AS and A level chemistry as I had a conditional offer to study dentistry. I really enjoyed our lessons as she is friendly and very organised. We did lots of previous exam questions from many different specifications which made me feel more prepared for my exam, all of the resources she gave me were different from those I received from college . Kim set me homework which was particularly useful during the second year as it meant that I was going over the AS topics as I was learning new topics so I had less to revise closer to the exams. Kim finished the specification with me before my college so I was able to go over topics for a second time in college to refresh my knowledge which helped to consolidate what I had learned. When I first came to Kim I was really struggling which chemistry and didn't put the AS exam as I thought I wouldn't do very well, however with Kim's help and support I achieved an A in chemistry and will be studying dentistry at university. Further to helping me academically, she also gave me advice on managing the stress and anxiety of exams which I found very valuable.

My daughter has only had 3 lessons with Kim so far but I am already confident she is in good hands. Kim is personable and very organised. My daughter really enjoys her lessons and she is already feeling the benefit of her tuition at college.

I started to receive tuition from Kim when I accepted a conditional offer to study Dentistry at university- the condition being that I achieve an A* in my A2 chemistry.
I enjoyed the theoretical aspects of chemistry but struggled with the mathematical applications having not continued Mathematics after my GCSE’s. Kim worked with me using problem solving techniques which I could apply to exam style questions. This not only built my confidence as I started to see myself improve on past exam papers, but also provided me with insight into the exam style.
After working with Kim I went from a grade B to an A* and developed a new work ethic which, If I had not had Kim as a tutor I would have not developed and would not be excelling to the extent that I am at university- achieving honors in my Semester 1 mock exams and achieving the anatomy dissection award. I cannot thank Kim enough for her help and support. Kim encouraged me and motivated me; It was not easy and at times and I did feel like I was trying to achieve the impossible… However, Kim kept me focused on the task at present.

My son rates Kim as excellent. She is totally reliable, very approachable and we just wished we had contacted her earlier. She has a set revision plan and Joe is much more optimistic about his IGCSE chemistry .Iif you are looking for a chemistry tutor then look no further.

I would definitely recommend Kim. My wife and son have been very impressed with her knowledge and style of teaching. Within a very short period of time Kim had identified how my son had been losing marks in answering particular questions. Also, she has set challenging homework and leaves us, and Matthew, with little doubt that she knows her subject material very well and is able to get this across. Also, according to my wife Kim is a very nice and approachable person.

Kim is extremely welcoming and friendly who made my daughter feel at ease from the start. Kim's research into my daughters syllabus prior to starting was first class and allowed a great start to the tutoring.
