I graduated with a First from Jesus College, Cambridge, where I studied French, German and English literature.

I have since gone on to complete a Master's in Comparative Literature and Culture. I focused on the connections between philosophy and literature and received a Distinction.

In September, I will begin a fully funded PhD in Comparative Literature in the US, and I am currently deciding between offers from both Princeton and Yale universities.

Outside of tutoring and academics, I have worked for publications such as Vogue Scandinavia and Harper's Bazaar, and I also greatly enjoy hiking, climbing and live music.

— 11+ admissions (English, Maths and non-verbal reasoning) with previous students achieving entry into highly competitive schools, such as City of London boys, University College School, Magdalen College School.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is centered on a comprehensive understanding of each student's strengths and weaknesses.

I prioritise identifying any gaps in their knowledge and work diligently to fill those voids. Additionally, I place a strong emphasis on building my students' confidence, particularly in areas such as essay writing, where self-assurance is key to success.

Moreover, I recognise the significance of exam technique in achieving higher grades and work together my students to demystify this aspect, providing them with clear strategies for higher marks.
