Hi. I am an experienced educator and have worked in Secondary, Further and Higher education as a teacher and a manager. I am personable and friendly with strong subject knowledge of English, History and Teacher Training, including Psychology. In my teaching career I have been praised for my clear style of explanation of concepts and theories and making learning interesting and engaging. I am enthusiastic and passionate about my subjects and my ultimate aim is to pass this on to any students that I teach.

Tutoring Approach

My first approach is to ascertain exactly what you need as a tutee; guidance, explanation, help withwriting/referencing. Once established, we can agree a structured way forward to get you where you need to be at your own pace, in your own time. We would meet face to face when agreed and i will also offer online support and provide you with any resources that may benefit you. Essentially, you as the tutee will guide what needs to be done and I will provide the how it will be done in the best way that suits you. I will provide records of all meetings for information and also some actions that will arise from the meetings.
I can also provide tuition totally online if that is preferable in accordance with pre agreed times and availability.
