I am a teacher of Psychology and Counselling at a successful sixth form in south central England. I have a love of the subject which led to a degree in Psychology (Counselling). I have over 130 students across both courses and years and deal with varied progression on a daily basis. My results have been the highest in my department since I began teaching and are consistently well above the national average.

I have taught OCR (old specification) and AQA (new specification) and have developed various parts of these specs for my College.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to put the specific needs of the student first. It is practical and logical to focus on the specific weaknesses of the individual and to systematically improve them. My counselling experience also enables effective communication between student and tutor which is crucial for getting points across.
