I'm a working professional. I have a degree in Business and Biology along with A levels in Maths, Biology Chemistry Physics and 10 GCES's. I enjoy interacting with people and when not working I enjoy reading and spending time with friends.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve been a tutor for the last six year tutoring primary all the way through to GCSEs with great results. I have numerous years of helping friends children do their homework and progress with their school work. I worked as a volunteer teaching assistant in a local primary school working with children from 6 all the way up to 10 in a variety of subjects.

I am also a school governor.

I am also happy to work with adults who wish to help improve their basic skills, I recently tutored a friend who had no basic computer skills and brough him up to a level that employers could recognise.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring methods are simple enough, to work with the tutee on a way that works for them. Variety is the key to children and adults alike not getting bored and above all else making the experience an enjoyable one. While it’s normally difficult to get children to complete homework, a mixture of reward and milestone achievements it allows the tutee to feel a sense of accomplishment during the tutoring process.
