Experienced biology tutor with adept knowledge in microbiology supported by a first class honours BSc in biomedical sciences and PhD in Microbiology. My teaching approach is dynamic and methodical ensuring that the needs of the student are catered for.

I welcome inquiries from anyone who would like extra, on-going tuition, help with general revision or assignments, or preparation for exams.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in teaching and tutoring biomedical sciences undergraduates and year 7-11's in biology. Most of my tutees achieve, on average, two grade boundaries above their predicted grades.

Tutoring Approach

During lessons we focus on exam questions and examiners reports to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades. I use exam papers to identify areas of weakness so we can then work on specific skills or topics. We can then revise topics and make revision materials.
