Qualified and experienced Business Education teacher within a Scottish Secondary school setting. 6 years experience in National 5 and Higher Business Management.

I have teaching experience in the National Curriculum of England having delivered IGCSE and IAL Business. (Edexcel)

Highly experienced with proven results in Business Management, Administration and Accountancy.

I have a degree in International Finance obtained at the University of Dundee. After this I went on to study my Postgraduate Diploma in Education; Business Management.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in delivering Business Management and preparing pupils for the final examinations, consecutively the past 6 years. I also am an employed SQA marker at National 5 level which therefore puts me in the mindset of a marker and can apply this knowledge to my teaching/tutoring in terms of exam skills.

I have been employed as a Business Education teacher within Aberdeenshire Council for 6 years, gaining experience from 2 different schools. I have also been a teacher in an international school setting delivering IGCSE and IAL Business.

Tutoring Approach

Offering tutoring on a 1-1 basis. Focus on knowledge consolidation of the course, exam skill and approach, with personalised feedback on marked work. Online tutoring is my preferred method of delivery.
