Hi, I'm Katie, 33 years old and live in Truro, Cornwall.

I have a great passion in sport, and education, along with the theory behind sports performance.

I like to watch all sports, but mainly Football. I usually find myself watching live sports at weekends, and am happy to travel to watch higher standard of sport.
In recent years, I have run two successful business in the Food Hospitality sector, one business which I started myself 7 years ago and is doing great in Truro.

Tutoring Experience

I've been coaching football locally since the age of 16, and have gained many coaching qualifications with The Football Association, along with First Aid, Child Protection and Child Welfare Qualifications. Once leaving school, I attending Truro College, and completed a BTEC National Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science, with the facilities at Truro College being the best locally, and wanting to continue coaching within my local clubs. I decided to continue my education at Truro College, with Plymouth University, where I hold a FdSc in Sports Coaching and Therapy, and BSc (HONS) in Sports Performance and Coaching. At this time I was also playing football for Cornwall, and coaching within the Girls Cornwall Centre of Excellence. Upon graduating, I secured a local placement to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at St Austell College, through Plymouth University. My age specialism would be GCSE PE, A - Level PE and the BTEC Sports Studies.

I have an open, supportive, flexible approach to explaining any topics required, to boost yours confidence, understanding and enthusiasm of Sport. I am flexible that will tailor my approach to suit the individual needs of the learner.
