KS3-GCSE English Tutor and ESOL Tutor for all ages

I am a Film and Literature graduate (First Clas Hons) and a CELTA qualified English Teacher with many years experience of teaching English both as an academic subject and as a foreign language. I have recently completed my final year at university, coming top in Film and Literature at Warwick with an average of 78%. As well as tutoring part-time, I work as in a Communications role in the third sector.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring English for over three years. I have experiencing teaching students of all ages on a 1-1 basis and have recently taught English classes to multi-national groups of adults.

I am most familiar with the GCSE AQA and WJEC English Language and Literature syllabuses.

Tutoring Approach

I am a friendly and supportive tutor who adapts each lesson to the needs of my student.

My lessons are engaging and interactive. I personalise my lessons and constantly assess what areas students need the most support with. My lessons are fun, productive and student-focused.
