I am passionate about physics and helping people learn about the world, whether that be through problem solving, understanding scientific / mathematic concepts, or understanding how we learn. Outside of teaching, I have a love of coffee, travel, and all things in Japanese culture. If you’re after a personalised approach to your learning or just need some guidance on how to study effectively, I may be the tutor for you. First introductory session is complementary ($0) so we can see if we’re a good fit for each other.
I have been a qualified physics, maths and science educator for 5 years at a prestigious public school in Brisbane (Australia), and have over 10 years of private tutoring experience. During my studies and teaching career, I have gained an in-depth understanding of how adolescents learn and how to teach physics and maths in an easy to understand and engaging way.
I tailor my teaching approach to each learner’s specific needs. From answering questions you have from content you’re covering in class, to looking ahead to content you want to cover before learning it at school. I can assist with undertaking how to tackle homework and assignment problems, understanding how to effectively study for exams, and I can tailor problem solving activities that suit your level. Let me know what you need, and I will adjust to suit you!
