I am a maths teacher of over twenty years experience, with a love of maths which inspires and enthuses my students.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently a maths teacher in FE, I teach functional skills and GCSE maths to adult students, but in the past I have taught younger students and up to A-level. I have been a tutor for five years and have a good record of success in terms of qualifications and improved confidence for my students.

Tutoring Approach

I understand that maths can be scary for some learners and I make sure that I work to build confidence as well as mathematical knowledge and ability. My students value my focussed, encouraging approach which helps to build skills such as problem solving and independent learning as well as maths.
