I'm Kate, a professional British English teacher of over 10 years!
Tutoring Experience
I have received a TEFL, PGDE and Masters degree in Education, as well as a BA in English Literature & Creative Writing. I have published multiple grammar textbooks for ESL learners, poetry collections and also YA novels. I have been teaching English as a Second language to students based in HK, China, as well as locally.
Tutoring Approach
My classes are friendly spaces to learn with no judgements. The main focus is on your individual learning needs. We will discuss what stage you are at, in line with your previous work and learning expectations, before drawing up a detailed teaching schedule personalised for you.
It is about celebrating the love of English and also making it fun and approachable to facilitate future learning- for you to achieve total competence and confidence! :)
