Hello, my name is Karthica Removed and I am excited to apply for the tutoring position at FirstTutors. I have a passion for education and a strong background in Biology. I studied Biomedical Science at St Georges University of London, then I went on to Studying Medicine at Hull York Medical School. Currently I am working as a Doctor however, I have had some time off due to health reasons. Going forward I will be working part-time. Therefore, I would love to tutor on my days off and weekends. I am confident in my ability to provide effective and engaging tutoring sessions that empower students to succeed academically.

Tutoring Experience

As a final year medical student last year, I had many opportunities to teach younger year groups. I helped run revision sessions for 1st year to 4th year medical students. Working as a Doctor this year, I have taught medical students on the wards and have taught my peers during weekly learning sessions ran at the hospital. Through this experience, I have learned to tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style, fostering a comfortable and open learning environment. I currently teach GCSE and A level students online.
