Karan

Hi! My name is Karan and I am a final year Economics students at UCL (University College London). I am based in Greenford and able to teach both in-person and online, to your preference. I went to school at QE Boys (ranked 6th in the year for Maths and Further Maths) and have been tutoring for 4 years.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 4 years now, and my students come from varying backgrounds and abilities. I teach primarily GCSE Maths, but have taught primary school children in the past, too.

Tutoring Approach

I have a flexible approach to teaching in that I let the pupil decide if they want to focus on a certain topic area, or allow me to go ahead and design the structure for their learning. I was the first cohort to take the new GCSE exams (relatively recently too!) and so know all the ins and outs of the syllabus, as well as what examiners are really looking out for (such as effective communication in working out) and how they catch students out.
