I am a first year medic at the university of Cambridge. I did biology, chemistry and maths A-level and achieved 3A*s. I also did Physics AS-level and achieved an A grade. As well as that I completed 12 GCSEs achieving mostly 9s.

Tutoring Approach

I prioritise learning from basic understanding so that new information fits with understanding and knowledge we already have and so that details are paired with the bigger picture helping not only understanding but also memory. I do this via the help of visual diagrams. To further help memory, I prioritise active revision and recall set as homework.

Finally, for exam confidence I would also prioritise exam technique and catering answers to markschemes.
