I am a postdoctoral researcher in Earth & environmental science with a PhD from Imperial College London in 3D high-resolution seismic imaging of active volcanoes.
Tutoring Experience
I've been teaching physics, geophysics, geology, computer science, both as a teaching assistant at Imperial and a private tutor for >6 years now. I've also been teaching English for native Polish speakers.
Tutoring Approach
Depends on whether it's maths/physics, Earth science or a foreign language. But in each case, I rely on first identifying student's strengths and weaknesses and then creating an individualised program, and not forgetting to keep instilling enthusiasm for the given subject in them! :)
