I have been a qualified History teacher since 2003. Currently I am also teaching English at a school in London.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught GCSE and A-level in several London schools. I have been an examiner with Edexcel since 2012.

Tutoring Approach

In the classroom I use varied learning activities such a group discussion, sorting activities, visual resources such as documentaries and short videos for content. I use exemplars to demonstrate to students the difference between a high or low level response to exam questions. But for tutoring, I assess the student’s base knowledge and plan my activities accordingly.
