I’m currently a student at the University of Warwick studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I’m a keen reader and also enjoy taking part in team sports such as rugby and football. I’m a very patient person and enjoy helping others to achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience

I was a mentor at my school helping younger kids with any difficulty they had in maths and the sciences. I also tutored my younger brother for his Spanish GCSE and helped out during lunchtimes at my school with extra tutoring for GCSE Spanish students.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to work out the students primary areas of weakness and then to address these through explaining them the concepts in a more simplified manner that they can understand. I would then go through practice questions with them to help consolidate their knowledge and fill in any gaps in their knowledge where necessary. I believe that’s it’s essential for the learning of the student, that they can understand themselves where they’ve been going wrong and understand concepts as a whole, rather than just knowing how to answer specific questions.
