I am a fully qualified Mathematics teacher with 13 years of teaching experience as well as extensive experience in tutoring.
All of the schools that I have worked for have been selective independent schools in which I have a history of helping my students to secure exceptional results.
I build good relationships with students and work to build their confidence and mathematical skills.
I currently teach from Year 7 to Year 13 including GCSE/IGCSE, Additional Mathematics FSMQ, A Level Mathematics and A Level Further Mathematics and I teach full-time at a high calibre, highly selective independent school. I have experience writing entrance exams and designing curricula.
My undergraduate degree was in Mathematics from a Russel Group university where I achieved a 2:1 and I am a fully qualified teacher, having taken a PGCE also at a Russel Group university. I achieved the highest possible grades when I studied Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level and Maths at GCSE.
I am fully DBS checked and have the certificate available for viewing.
In addition to my teaching experience I have tutored students for A-Levels, GCSEs and entrance examinations including 11+ and 13+. I have also run Easter revision courses to help students prepare for GCSE and A Level examinations and I have experience of being an A Level and GCSE examiner.
I support students in developing their confidence and Mathematical skills so that they can excel in the subject. I am a friendly teacher who builds positive relationships with my students. I teach using research recommended methods and current best practice in the field.
