Hi! I'm Joseph, a Philosophy, Politics and Economics student at Oxford.

I offer one-to-one tutoring aimed at pupils who are aiming to study PPE, helping them navigate the 2024/2025 UCAS admissions cycle.

Tutoring Experience

I have achieved excellent results both within the French educational system (Bac OIB - mention TB), in my Oxford TSA admissions test (>80 - top 2% of applicants) and at Oxford (Distinction in Prelims).

I am good-natured, assiduous, and willing to go the extra mile for any of my students!

I can share documents related to the TSA exam that I collated when I was revising for it.

Tutoring Approach

Each student is different, this means that no two lesson should be the exact same. Nonetheless, I aim for my sessions to focus on these key points:

Exam Technique
* Practicing TSA past paper questions - this is the best way to be ready for exam day.
* Learning and consolidating difficult or new material (especially for the problem solving section of the TSA) - I will often ask a student to explain key concepts back to me.
* Developing Exam technique for specific types of questions - this is critical for the TSA, which is a time pressured exam.

UCAS Application
* Preparing an ideal Oxford PPE UCAS personal statement which helps students stand out.

Oxford Interview (if the student passes the TSA stage)
* Mock virtual Oxford PPE interviews, with detailed feedback.
