I am a lucky French teacher who has made the best of his studies by traveling and living in English speaking countries. I had the chance to spend a year in the US where I worked as a Lecturer of French and I then decided after my Master's Degree to teach in London. I am now traveling around the world, always trying to get new resources for my teaching and my English and fulfilling another passion : translating.
I have strong experience working as a French tutor in London for well-known agencies and as a French Language Assistant in English secondary schools where I had the fantastic opportunity to work with pupils from all levels (from Year 7 to A-levels). This experience has given me a strong knowledge of the national curriculum and an excellent competence in the preparation of GCSE and A-level exams as well as 13+ and 16+ entrance exams.
My experience as a language assistant as well as a tutor of French has allowed me to provide efficient and enjoyable lessons. I have now been tutoring online for more than four years and I can tell that my previous experience in education has been crucial for delivering high quality lessons online. Being able to quickly adapt to each pupil's personality as well as building up comfort and setting up targets during a lesson are things which can be challenging in front of a whole classroom but it is also a real challenge to keep a pupil concentrated and interested during a whole session online. I am very happy to see that I have reached very good tutoring skills online and my biggest satisfaction is to see my passion of languages encouraging tutees.
