I am recently retired though still continue to tutor, occasionally teach at my last school and work with 3 exam boards as an examiner. I am based in Rowlands Gill, Gateshead and am happy to drive up to 10-15 miles from my home but will certainly consider larger distances.
I have enhancd DBS checks.

Tutoring Experience

I taught Physics up to A level standard for 35 years until I retired in a large secondary Catholic school. Additionally, I was Director of Sixth Form there for the last 15 years, looking after every aspect of school life for 300 students.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer to tutor in person 1-2-1 in the tutees home. I provide summary notes and start each session talking through the Physics content before trying out past exam questions. I am happy to adapt to the needs of any student. I am relaxed, friendly and can offer a wealth of experience and success.
