Following my degree in Mechanical Engineering, I converted to being a Physics teacher and have worked in a very successful school for 35 years. In addition to teaching, I have been Director of a large Sixth Form for 15 years and have extensive knowledge relating to careers and university applications. I can offer sound advice on the choices you make at every stage of secondary school in addition to offering you high quality Physics support.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Physics up to A level standard for 35 years in a large Catholic secondary school in Blaydon, Gateshead as well as the science units on the level 3 BTEC Engineering course at Sixth Form level. My experience covers years 7-13 and over 100 school terms.

Tutoring Approach

1-2-1 tuition can offer the chance to focus on just you and your needs. I prefer face to face tuition and am happy to travel out to families for that. Sessions are bespoke for each student covering only what you want and need.
