I am a retired lecturer and consultant who misses teaching. I can be very flexible about hours. I live in West Sussex, and am offering tutoring in maths and physics.

Tutoring Experience

I lectured for twenty years in the field of physics, maths and computer science at particle physics and astronomy institutes. First and foremost, this was at CERN in Geneva where, for a period covering ten years, I taught hundreds of scientists and engineers working on the Large Hadron Collider.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that knowledge naturally accompanies understanding. I start with finding pictures, structures and intuitions that impart insight and understanding, and maybe even interest and enthusiasm.
