Hi, I'm currently a postgraduate student at Royal Holloway, University of London. I am also a trained CBT therapist, which has given me great training in how to get the best out of people. I believe passionately in teaching children from first principles in concrete ways which enable better understanding of material.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored in a wide range of areas, from primary school maths to A-level psychology. In all areas, I have been able to make progress with my students and in most cases helping to achieve their desired results. I'm passionate about what I teach, and I am able to use a wide variety of teaching styles to best suit each individual students. I offer regular reviews with parents of my students to ensure that I am meeting their expectations, as well as getting regular feedback from the students themselves.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to facilitate understanding of the material being taught. Depending on the subject, I encourage students to think about the problems they come across in order for them to understand the what is being asked. I've found that this approach is more helpful as it encourages greater retention of information. I also help prepare students for exams and tests.
