Joanne has been really helpful, great at communicating and responding to messages so that we can work out times and what we will need to do

My experience with speaking with her at the end of every session has been amazing. Her professionalism has made it very easy to communicate if there were issues with attending sessions. Over the last six months of tuition, her only absence was caused by COVID in regards to a family situation. She went out of her way to compensate for this with extra time given onto other sessions that proceeded.

This is a feedback that has been written by my son based on his experiences with Joanne:

"My time with her has been very useful and it's effects have shown in my studies. Chemistry has made much more sense to me than it did previously and it has given me the solid foundations to further enhance my knowledge of chemistry to achieve grades I never knew I could attain. Her teaching methods made it much easier to apply myself in the exam questions where I was struggling and aided me in my practise through past exam papers. Ways that I never knew were possible to approach a question were made known to me an without them, I would have a much more difficult time with chemistry and subsequently, my other subjects."

Right from entering her property she made my nervous 16 year daughter feel at ease. She was warm and understanding making it clear that my daughter was able to navigate the tuition the way she wanted and loved the way she said things to boost her confidence. On first day already left learning 2 things she had been confused on. Looking forward to seeing her journey from feeling like giving up to already seeing a bit of light ahead.

Joanne was excellent in her approach and very quickly gave Olivia, my daughter the confidence to understand some of the more complex issues in the Chemistry A Level syllabus.
Without this assistance I certainly wouldn't have been as confident that my daughter would improve her grade in the final assessments to obtain her place at University.

Joanne is a very dedicated and excellent tutor, her approach communicating and pin pointing areas which need improving was second to none.

Wish we could have had her more often on a weekly basis.

Joanne was welcoming, she listened and adapted her techniques to suit Graces needs, and has guided her to relevant sites to further her revision. Happy so far.

Out Daughter Jane (aged 17) is comfortable with and gets on well with Joanne and finds her teaching very clear and has confidence in her knowledge and is building her own confidence. Really pleased with the progress so far. Thanks Joanne for accommodated a Sunday evening lesson.

Joanne quickly grasps the problems and issues of the tutee and has several learning solutions for them to try. She is very approachable, professional and organised. Her wealth of experience at various levels of academia seems to give her a refreshing approach to pupils and teaching. We highly recommend her.

Joanne has helped my daughter so much. She started out with Joanne with a U grade in a chemistry AS level mock exam and after only a few hours of tuition has now achieved A grade in her latest mock. My daughter now feels confident that she will be able to do very well in her upcoming exams. I can't thank Joanne enough for all her help.

Joanne is really helpful to me. She always has useful resources and past paper questions for me to practise on. She often helps me understand alternate ways of approaching a question which I think is important.

Had 2 sessions up to now with Joanne she's nice, explains things really well is very flexible it's definitely helping having Joanne already
