I have completed the first year of a PhD in experimental physics, and graduated in 2021 with a 1st class MSci degree in Physics with French from Imperial College London. I have used physics and maths almost every day of my degree, and greatly enjoy studying and discussing them. Personally, the moment I enjoy most in tutoring is when I can see a student has understood something that has been previously challenging for them.

Tutoring Experience

Previous tutoring experience (3 years) in Maths and Physics at GCSE level, but also comfortable and qualified for tutoring at A-level.

Tutoring Approach

I strongly believe that understanding concepts is more important to succeeding than simply learning and repeating a method to answer questions. While it is still possible to achieve good grades with the latter approach, it is much less satisfying and enjoyable for the student.
