Hello there! My name is Jiwa, and I will be thrilled to be your go-to tutor for KS3 and GCSE Maths. With a solid foundation in Computer Science, holding a First-Class Degree, and achieving A* grades in both GCSE and A-level maths. I bring unique skills in simplifying complex tasks and topics into small and easy-to-digest chunks to help you achieve the highest grade possible.

Tutoring Experience

1) 2 years working as a Software Engineer for a renewable / technology company.
2) 1 year working as a tutor teaching topics ranging from:
- Private tutoring KS3 - GCSE maths, and helping students achieve their target grades.
- Teaching software development skills, and helping graduates secure full-time software engineering jobs.

Tutoring Approach

Tailored Lessons
My approach is very tailored to the student's needs. Hence, in the first lessons, I will start off by understanding students' target grades, and by asking if they have any specific topics, or homework they struggle in.

If they are unsure, we will start off by asking different questions, to get a better understanding of the student's strengths and weaknesses. Then, I will follow up with comprehensive support to turn their weaknesses into strengths.

Interactive Lessons
My sessions are interactive, encouraging students to actively participate and ask questions. This fosters a positive and collaborative learning environment.

Progress Monitoring
I track the progress of my students closely, identifying areas that may need additional focus and celebrating achievements along the way.

Improving on and off lessons:
To reinforce learning and provide personalized practice, I send tailored homework assignments. These assignments are designed to align with the student's current curriculum and address specific areas that may need extra attention.
