Hello! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China, now living in London（NOW in Kingston）, UK. I speak standard Mandarin, understand Cantonese, and have a deep appreciation for Chinese culture and storytelling. My goal is to make learning Mandarin feel approachable, engaging, and personally meaningful for each student.

While I’m new to formal teaching, I have experience helping international friends learn Chinese through conversation, cultural explanations, and creative activities. I’m also an artist with a background in drawing, which I love to incorporate into my lessons, especially with younger students who benefit from visual and playful learning styles.

I offer lessons for:

Tutoring Experience

Although I am new to formal Mandarin teaching, I have rich informal experience supporting international friends and classmates in learning Chinese. I’ve helped them with pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, cultural understanding, and even basic writing tasks.
As a native speaker based in London and an artist, I bring a creative and culturally rich perspective to each session. I understand how to break down complex ideas into simple, engaging steps for different age groups — from children to adults.

I can also understand Cantonese, which allows me to communicate more easily with learners from Cantonese-speaking families or bilingual households.
