I am a 21 year-old final year student at Imperial College London studying a BSc in Biochemistry. I achieved all grades 8-9 in 11 GCSEs in 2018, and three A*s in A-levels Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology in 2020 so I understand what it takes to become a high achieving student.

I having been tutoring a couple of students throughout my undergraduate degree, and am currently looking to take on any students who perhaps need some last minute help with their GCSEs, or students who would like tutoring throughout the summer.

I understand how stressful exams can be, and that having a caring and attentive tutor can be an enormous help and confidence booster. I know all the revision tricks and love passing on my knowledge and experience to other students who need some help and support.

Tutoring Experience

As mentioned, I have been tutoring throughout my undergraduate degree, but I have also been tutoring since the start of my A-levels in 2018. Over the years I have learnt how to communicate with students of all ages, and as a result of that my tutees always return for more and recommend me to friends.

I also have experience in an EduTech start-up, evulpo, in which I worked as a content creator to create revision resources, tutorial videos and exercise sheets for GCSE and A-level maths, further demonstrating my teaching capabilities.

Tutoring Approach

Typically, I structure my sessions to start with theory, then to finish with practise questions. Throughout my sessions I like to refer to the exam, as I believe that when aiming for success in the exams it is best to always keep them in mind! I have seen copious amounts of past papers and so I know which particular parts of each topics tend to come up, and the kinds of questions they come up in.
