Hi! I'm Jess, and I use She/They pronouns. I am a 20 year old student at the University of Manchester, studying Aerospace Engineering. I have a passion for flight simulators, as well as playing my guitar and reading.
During Sixth Form I was subject captain for Astronomy and Physics. As part of my responsibilities, I tutored the lower years through their GCSE courses. Additionally, I spent some time doing classroom support for GCSE Physics and Astronomy lessons.
I have a friendly and encouraging style, motivating my students to ask questions and helping them reach the answers on their own. Usually all they need is a little nudge in the right direction, and they can take it from there. When explaining key concepts I always make sure to have 2 explanations ready, as some students will understand one better than another.
