I am an experienced Teacher of Geography plus head of department in the North East. I graduated from Northumbria University with a BSc in Physical Geography and gained PGCE/QTS in an inner city London school. I have experience tutoring both GCSE and A Level students.

Tutoring Experience

I work with all year groups at school from year 7 to year 13. I also have extensive experience with the practical elements of geography qualifications such as fieldwork followed by independent investigations at A Level known as the NEA. I have two years experience marking for AQA. I have tutored both GCSE and A Level for AQA and Edexcel specifications.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is incredibly flexible. I would recommend an initial meeting where I can assess where students gaps are with regards to specific content or skills. From here we can put a plan in place to support you using strategies to maximise your retention or knowledge and application to exams. I am happy to do online tutoring or in person if you are local to me.
