I am a friendly, experienced ex-teacher. I have a love of learning, especially of all languages, and it is my passion and privilege to share this with learners of all ages. I understand how daunting and sometimes disheartening language learning can be (even when it is our own language) and I will work with you to create positive learning experiences.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 25 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Having begun my career in the secondary sector, I have since had the opportunity to work with all ages from pre-school to retired adults. I teach French and English as a foreign language to all ages and abilities. I teach English up to age 14 with particular experience in helping young people who are struggling with reading and English skills. I have a proven track record of helping students to improve their GCSE and A level grades. I work with clients who want to learn for personal reasons, for fun, for business and to help with passing examinations.
