Tutoring Experience

For over 15 years, I have served as a dedicated teacher in mainstream British primary schools. For a decade of that tenure, I held the esteemed position of Head of English at two different schools. In this leadership role, I played a key part in driving progress and achievement. My commitment as both a teacher and a leader has always centered around helping children attain academic excellence through dynamic and innovative lessons. I have worked with a diverse range of students, from those with additional needs to those classified as gifted and talented.

Tutoring Approach

My educational philosophy revolves around providing every child with equality of opportunity, regardless of their background or ability. I firmly believe in offering each child the chance to learn and experience success, coupled with challenges at every level. Upon entering my class, students should feel welcomed and valued, fostering a love for learning that accompanies them throughout their academic journey into adulthood. Education, in my view, should be enjoyable and exciting, recognizing that happy children are more likely to learn and retain knowledge.

Classes

I offer a range of classes from:
- SATS revision
- 11 Plus Prep
- Creative Writing - themed around Harry Potter and short films
- Personalised bespoke curriculums based on needs.

I can offer 1:1 tuition or other class types.

I have extensive experience teaching across the entire primary curriculum, with a specialisation in reading and writing. My proficiency lies in helping reluctant learners discover the joy that accompanies success.
