My name is Jeney and I've been a tutor for several years in Maths and Economics. I am able to teach from KS3 to A-Level.

I have a degree in Maths and Economics from London School of Economics and have been working in across Financial Services for over 10 years including the Big Four, large banks and insurance companies.

My profession and academic background allows me to provide context and real world application to key topics, which can help with understanding subject matters better. I have found it rewarding to pass on my knowledge to others, as well as to help students understand that the foundations of Maths and Economics are important in the real world.

I really enjoy teaching students and find it really rewarding to see students progress in terms of their capability. From my experiences, I understand that every person's learning style is different and I try to tailor my approach accordingly.

My students have gone on to achieve top grades, beyond what they would have initially expected. I can help with most exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA and OCR.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring Maths and Economics for the past 14 years. My students have come from all walks of life (from KS3 to adult learners), and have had different learning needs. I try to find their learning methods/learning style and use that as a basis for my teaching.

Tutoring Approach

I am able to create a comfortable environment where students feel ok to ask questions and be honest about their learning challenges. I understand the importance of listening to each students needs, I create tailored session for each student based on their needs and learning style. Exam technique is also taught throughout the sessions to make revision and exam practice easier when the time comes.

I am available outside of tutoring hours to support also.
