I am a senior examiner and I've worked across five different exam boards over the last 22 years, specialising in KS3, GCSE and Functional Skills. I have experience in writing/critiquing both exam papers (a wide variety) and text books.
Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring since 1997, both in-person and online. Having worked for exam boards since 2000, I now have a great knowledge of the exams systems which allows me to show my students how to approach the exam questions effectively.
Tutoring Approach
My teaching approach depends on the student. Some like homework set, others already have enough from school. Some like to work on past exam papers, others like to work topic by topic.....I'll work how best suits each student.
