Several years of experience in the education sector and am thoroughly informed on pedagogical advancements related to Mathematics. I am determined to broaden student experience both within and outside of subject area and understand the importance of an enriched curriculum. Competent in using platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Google Classroom to aid students in their learning. I am an expert at differentiation and scaffolding- have taught and formed excellent relationships with students from all backgrounds. I am committed to helping students exceed and I have a track record in adding value to student performance.
I have a broad skills-set from my vast experience of working in a wide-range of sectors including business. I am a reliable, conscientious individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I am an active team player who works well both collaboratively and independently. I am quick to anticipate foreseeable complications and provide creative solutions. Tutoring Experience

I am a teacher in a mainstream secondary school. I have been teaching KS2 and KS3 for the last 8 years. I have in-depth knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and the experience/skills needed to ensure your child passes their SATS and GCSE exams with top grades. I have a strong academic background coupled with an energetic and creative teaching style which has contributed immensely towards producing successful results. I have access to many resources that I can access, to help aid and further secure understanding of more complex topics within maths.

I also have experience in teaching maths using the mastery method approach which many schools are introducing into their curriculum.

Tutoring Approach

I have extensive experience in delivering lessons online. All my lessons both private and school based were delivered online to my classes especially during lockdown using Teams. I am competent at delivering lessons online which I have since continued to do so with great success.
My lessons are tailored to the students needs which I determine after an initial assessment. I deliver my lessons to infuse greater understanding of the topic. I also have experience in delivering lessons using the maths mastery method.

During lockdown I was teaching classes of 25/30 students from years 11-16 online. This involved introducing new topics, reinforcing topics already learnt and clarifying concepts that needed further reinforcement.
