I am a teacher, a mother and a scholar. I always update my knowledge through personal studies and career progression opportunities. I am currently an education doctoral student.

Tutoring Experience

I am a primary school teacher with over 25 years of experience across all primary phases. I have led English and Maths in schools and was a national tutoring programme. Also, I prepare children for 11+ exams and SATs. I have been doing online tuition since 2020 and have a vast experience in real time online tuition.

Tutoring Approach

Although I follow the National Curriculum programme, I always ensure that my teaching is personalised to the ability and needs of the child while challenging them to make progress.
While I have tutored both online and at centres, I have found that children learn better online because they have access to tools that will enable them to share their learning in real time as well as resources, such as PowerPoints, that you wouldn’t normally have at centres. Pupils are also given homework.
It is also convenient for busy parents and pupils and parents receive regular feedback.
