Tutoring Experience

Having worked in Further and Higher Education environments since 1997 - to date. Qualified Teacher - (Level 5) Education and Training Teacher in the FE and Life Long Learning Sector. Hold a Postgraduate in Leadership. Taught BTEC Level 1,2, 3 and 4 in Business and Management, taught undergraduates on BA Hons Business and Management, carry out one to one coaching sessions with women in business, women setting up own business, changing or transitioning with their careers. Teach and design workshops for adults and young people relating to personal development, employability, careers education, etc.

Tutoring Approach

Reassure individuals, parents, Mum or dad’s that I can provide professional one to one tutoring, can support small to large groups sessions, use teaching methods and strategies to work with individual needs / assess needs to deliver the tutoring. Can address current status of learning to help set goals, achieve milestones (catch up with course work, help with guidance on assignment planning, subject teaching, research techniques, developing skills to move onto Higher Education learning, writing personal statements.
