My teaching experience has enabled me to expand my overall knowledge by introducing me to different situations, pedagogies and opportunities for enhancement. One of my proven strengths has been to set high expectations which simultaneously motivate and challenge pupils to reach their absolute potential. I have accomplished this by establishing a safe learning environment that promotes equal opportunities and highlights the importance of mutual respect in which children must practice between themselves and their tutors alike.

11 Plus expertise and specialist
I take a bespoke approach to teaching based on the student's capabilities, the objectives they are trying to achieve, their learning style and first and foremost them as a person.
I have the ability to quickly identify these things in others and develop a teaching plan around this to ensure they reach their potential.
I specialise in building children's confidence which is passion of mine as I have a proven track record of building confidence which has a knock on effect on test results.
My passion for teaching/tutoting derives from my own school experience. I was a lower attaining child due to my struggles with dyslexia and through the help of my patient teachers/tutors. I was able to develop and understand how I could improve and focus my learning in the classroom by adopting a variety of learning techniques which helped me to thrive and achieve a higher education.
This has also contributed to my ideal that no child should be left behind, with all children having the opportunity to succeed in their education.
My experience, within a childcare setting, has equipped me with the ability to succeed in a challenging environment, be flexible, patient and have a positive approach towards tutoring children.
