ENGLISH AND MATHS TUITION FOR PRIMARY AGED CHILDREN - SEN EXPERT
Hi I'm Jane. I work in a local primary school and offer English, Maths and Speech and Language support face-to-face in the Lewes area and on-line. I love working with children one to one and seeing the progress they make. When I'm not working I enjoy sea swimming, working on a community allotment and singing in a local choir. I live in Lewes with my family.

Tutoring Experience

I’m a qualified teacher and experienced tutor with over 10 years’ experience of supporting children with special educational needs in local primary schools. I have worked across KS1 and KS2 and specialise in working with children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, Autistic Spectrum Condition and speech and language difficulties. Before I started working in primary education, I taught English as a Second Language to adults. I have an Enhanced DBS check.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions are child-led. I will assess your child's needs and plan sessions based on their needs and interests. I make the sessions fun and motivating and will focus on increasing your child's confidence. I'm enthusiastic and encouraging and usually find children look forward to their sessions with me.
