I'm an experienced Maths teacher with a Mathematics degree and PGCE. In addition I completed an MSc in psychology to further my understanding of how students learn and develop.

Tutoring Experience

I have several years' experience teaching in state school, leading independent schools and FE. I have taught all levels from Year 7 to Oxbridge entry, and have examined for Edexcel at A level.
I have successfully tutored several students to GCSE and A level success.

Tutoring Approach

My approach varies on the prior attainment, age and aspiration of the student. However, my underlying approach is a belief that all pupils are capable of progressing to a higher level in mathematics, whatever stage they are at. I seek to improve students' mastery of a topic with a range of explanations and providing activities that challenge students.
